People take a good look from the passing double decker bus. Pedestrians look on with interest. The event takes place under Coventry's new eye catching
blue archway. |

| What was nice was that The reverend Cannon David Pettifor who said a little closing prayer also tried the self realization meditation technique for himself. |
Coventry City Peace and Reconciliation picnic was a venture between the Normandy Association of France to mark the 61st anniversary 'D' day landings and the French liberation and Coventry Coventry Council.
At the 60 anniversary of the end of world war 2 Coventry remember the fallen and look forwards to a multi cultural city thriving in a peaceful future. Thanks went out to Dennis Davidson a 'D'day veteran and Luc Couillard of the Normandy Association for their help and encouragement in organizing the event. |
